Why We're Called Three Avocados

In January 2010 I was worshiping in Bulopa, a remote village in eastern Uganda. The offering basket came around, and a widow placed three avocados in it. She didn't have a single shilling — those avocados were everything she had, and she gave them so someone else could eat. I came home, built a coffee company, and named it after her. Sixteen years later we still give away 100% of the profits.

Our Coffees

We work with farmers and cooperatives in coffee-growing regions to bring you single-origin beans with distinct flavor profiles:

Uganda Bugisu Coffee — Bold and earthy, with notes of dark chocolate and caramel. Our flagship coffee, sourced from the slopes of Mount Elgon.

Nicaragua Coffee — Sweet, smooth, and approachable. Medium roast with low acidity and bright honey notes, grown in the highlands above Matagalpa.
